PI Java Mapping Jars
Please find the PI Mapping Jars that can used for writing Java mappings > PI 7.1 versions.
How to include this libraries to the project:
Open NWDS and Configure the build path of the project.
Once the configuration editor is opened then add the external jars by clicking on the “Add External Jars” button
Download the Jar files from the download below and then add it to the project.
Once the Jar files are properly loaded it should show no error symbol.
Now check the reference library section to see all the required mapping jars are loaded and visible under the project.
Once you have the Java Mapping jars downloaded and configured the NWDS consider the following blogs to learn how to write the java mappings:
Before writing the Java mapping, we need to understand for which environment we are writing this program. If the Java Mapping is for XI 3.0 then JSDK version should be 1.4 and for PI 7.1 it should be 1.5 and PI 7.3 supports 1.6.
Make sure all the compatibility is checked before hand and NWDS is setup accordingly to generate the right code.
